ESB Consulting is hitting the road!

On March 11th, we’ll hit the third anniversary of the date the WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. This week feels like a good time to reflect on the past three years and the new adventures they have inspired.

I had left my job in early January of 2020 to take a year to unwind and reset. I planned a 4 month road trip around the country to visit friends and see places I’d never been. I packed up my car and hit the road on March 7th, 2020. I made it to California and spent a week with my sister’s family, each day scarier than the last. We celebrated St. Paddy’s Day on the 17th, and on the 18th, I packed up my car and headed home.

A lot has happened in the meantime. One big event for me was starting my own company just over a year ago. And now, after a year of working from home, I’m hitting the road. Yesterday, I clicked the button to reserve an office on wheels from mid-April through mid-May. I’ll be hitting a conference in Salt Lake City, making my way out to Chicago, and then winding my way home, all with my furry copilot Doolin, a two year old standard parti-poodle.
